| Pro-Care Home Health offers professional nursing services including physical assessments, medication management, administration of injections, administration of intravenous fluids and medications, diabetes management, cardio/pulmonary rehabilitation, laboratory testing, care of wounds, burns, surgical sites, tube sites, and insertion of Foley catheters. One of the nurse’s most important functions is providing education and training to our patients, families and caregivers regarding their illness, disease or disability. This individualized training, in the privacy and security of the patient’s home, greatly assists the patient and family in the achievement of self care behaviors that lead to an optimal level of independent functioning and health maintenance. |
